Let's say that he was in the room, they would have noticed that. If he was inserted as a guard, the change in formation/patrol would have been noticed. Same for any servant position actually, these things would be noticed and investigated.

As for the dance routine, it's something that hadn't been seen by the father nor the main villain. So by inserting him as a second main lead, a position that likely didn't exist or changed cast, he was inserted into a position that neither would have noticed was out of place. So I'm guessing that the final boss of this series will most likely be Austin Griffin which is Hao Chen's partner as it was perceived to be the reincarnation of Austin Griffin by the other demons when it was recuperating and evolving in the Demon Realm.

I think he won't be the main villain. I think the friendship between Hao Chen and Austin Griffin will allow him to not destroy the world. Hao Chen likely will fight him at some point till he regains his sanity or something like that. Which once he grows to full power and is friends with Hao Chen, it's over for the demons.

Note that there is so much more to the story we don't know, like the darkness that's inside Hao Chen. Hell, there may be a final villain we still haven't met yet. Maybe Griffin is actually good and there is a reason they did what they did.
